The Corporate Service team within Sydney Metro supports the whole organisation including Operational and Project teams with best-in-class IT, Technology, Procurement, HR, Financial Management and Communications functions. We partner closely with the business as well as with senior stakeholders, media and community groups to drive performance, build relationships and manage our exemplary reputation.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join us in Finance and Risk reporting to the Senior Manager, Management Accounting.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide a range of financial and management reporting services to support high standards across financial, budget and funding matters. The role works collaboratively across internal stakeholders including involvement in reporting of finances and monitoring of financial information.

What you will be involved in:
Adapting to a dynamic work environment as it evolves and progresses through substantial change

Understanding and maintaining awareness of strategic planning and budget formulation processes and cycle, budget forecasting and technical processes involved

Managing and prioritising competing requests and requirements

About you

You are a tertiary qualified in Finance discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience in financial/accounting programs, preferably SAP and be looking for an opportunity to utilise your finance experience and work in a team with a supportive culture to develop your career.

You have demonstrated experience in a complex finance and business analysis with advanced computer literacy. Ideally, you are on the pathway of getting CA or CPA, you will have a can-do-attitude and have professional communication skills both written and verbal, and be able to run basic reports.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 8 ($118,015 – $132,898) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
