About the Opportunity

The role of Risk and Compliance Analyst will have a particular focus on reporting and analytics as well as preparation and co-ordination of operational risk and compliance reporting for boards, committees and/or senior management. A passion in risk analysis would see someone excel in this role as you would need to be able to provide meaningful risk and compliance insights to senior business and risk stakeholders. In this role you will also support in continuing to maintain and enhance TAL’s enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance system.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Provision of commercially sound technical risk and compliance advice on risk issues in a timely fashion

Co-ordination and management of reporting deliverables

Extraction and analysis of data for risk reporting

Conducting and reporting on findings from market and industry risk research

Assisting the development and implementation of the risk management framework.

Stakeholder management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant academic qualifications, e.g. a university degree

Minimum of 1 year experience working within financial services

Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member

Ability to manipulate and analyse data

Relevant risk analysis skills (highly desirable)

A sound understanding of the insurance industry (highly desirable)

Computer literacy and a good knowledge of relevant application e.g. Sharepoint, Excel and PowerPoint
