About the role:
We are looking for a Sales Analyst to work closely with our professional buying and planning team on a wide variety of tasks. Reporting into the Planning Manager this is a permanent full time role based in our Adelaide Support Office.
Preparing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting
Build financial budgets for different areas of retail that support the overall business outcomes
In season trading reviews on current performance and recommend future action to maximise sales and profit performance
Conducting category review analysis and, in conjunction with the buying team, review product mix and pricing in stores to set appropriate core ranges to achieve department KPI’s.
Assisting with planning and management of catalogues and providing sell-through analysis and insight on performance.
Analysing stock holding, purchases and supplier deals in order to place appropriate orders with suppliers and provide the business with analysis to maximise supplier performance
As an experienced Analyst, you will have a solid knowledge base, an inquisitive and commercial mind and enjoy knowledge sharing. Working collaboratively is your preferred style being able to liaise and communicate across all working relationships to keep people informed of activities, deadlines and progress.
To be successful for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
3+ years previous experience in a similar role
Understanding of retail environment and inventory management
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly in Excel
Strong analytical and data analysis skills, along with experience applying these skills with large amounts of data.
Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong numerical skills
Ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An ability and willingness to adapt to and embrace change
