Your day to day

You will be looking after 3 key components- dashboard and report building, business process improvement and efficiencies and end of month controls.

You will report directly to the Group Finance Director and work within the Group Finance team. The Group Finance team sits within the wider Finance department of 50+ staff in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empowering our business with live financial data through Power BI
  • Developing largely automated financial analysis through SQL
  • Designing charts that will provide engaging and meaningful financial insights to our senior leadership team
  • Identifying areas where operational costs can be made more efficient
  • Cost forecasting for potential policy directions
  • Assisting on negotiations with suppliers on key costs
  • Developing environmental sustainability reporting
  • Designing and continuously improving our online workflow processes
  • Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Testing monthly SBOX controls

Who are you?

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Have experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Prior experience with SQL coding
  • Strong Excel ability
  • Have a high attention to detail and strong organisation skills
  • Team player who likes to challenge the status quo
