Supports the development and maintenance of Electric Transmission budget and financial forecast to meet stakeholder goals of Dominion Energy.
Works closely with the Transmission leadership and the Financial Management team to define and develop operational and financial reporting and analysis including, but not limited to:
Preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial case studies for business processes.
Developing cost/benefit analysis, models, programs, and systems to support the development of business strategies and ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
Developing programs and implement automated methods and systems to track work performance and efficiencies.
Prepare full cycle process improvement recommendations by conducting research, data collection, and advanced analytical practices.
Perform assignments or contribute to projects designed to develop and enhance applicable knowledge, skills, and abilities that overlay with the policies, methodology, and other criteria to perform job duties.
Perform varied analyses, routine work assignments, and other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Required Experience: 5+ years of directly related experience with a required Bachelors degree *Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications. A Masters Degree can count as one year experience.
Knowledge and experience in financial management, analysis, forecasting, and/or accounting standards and practices (experience in utilities preferred but not required).
Excellent interpersonal, team player, and leadership skills needed to be successful in this role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to best interface with a diverse audience.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrating planning, organization, and a commitment to excellence.
Aptitude and passion for continuous learning.
Demonstrated flexibility to manage simultaneous assignments or priorities.
Ability to conduct work autonomously or with little direction, making sound financial decisions to mitigate risk, manage ambiguity, and deliver results.
Highly skilled in MS Excel and have proficiencies with other MS Office Suite programs, experience with Office 365 OS and other visual tools preferred but not required.
Preferred experience in SAP, Business Warehouse, and Anaplan.
