The Position: Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
General Responsibilities:
Support the Business Unit’s strategic objectives, through strong analysis.
Analysis of underwriting performance
Develop deep understanding of portfolios at the business and deal level globally.
Support quarterly financial reporting processes
Assist in the coordination and preparation of the annual planning process for the segment
Perform segment forecasting, reporting, and operational analyses including the analysis of past results, variance to plans and forecasts, and trend analysis in support of decision making
Work closely with segment and portfolio leaders
Support the development and maintenance of financial models for planning, forecasting, and valuation
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data
General Qualifications:
5+ years’ relevant experience and insurance/reinsurance knowledge
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or MBA preferred
Experience in both accounting and financial planning and analysis
