UMB’s Specialty Corporate Trust team offers a variety of trust services to the structure finance world for aviation, rail and real estate. We work with customers based all across the world to onboard their business and administer the trust transactions. Our team supports UMB by bringing in direct revenue to the bank in the way of fee revenue and interest income. We offer a niche product and service offering and our team is known around the world as one of a few specialty trust departments that can onboard and administer this unique group of products.
The SCT Relationship Manager role is the main point of contact for our customers. They work closely with their clients and interact with all levels of our customer organizations from the operations associates to the CFO. This relationship building opens the door for additional product and service offerings within the larger UMB that our customers may be looking for. As trustee we are involved in the day to day administrative duties and payments on simple and complex transactions.

How you’ll spend your time:
You will build relationships and continuously engage with customers in order to provide support and resolve both routine and complex requests.
You will facilitate transaction closings, approve outgoing payments, manage annual fee processes, and complete UMB’s ongoing responsibilities outlined in various transaction documents.
You will review transaction structures, legal documents, and comment on administrative duties in governing documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate.
You will collaborate with internal groups across UMB’s Corporate Trust teams to ensure client accounts are administered properly.

You have 4 years of related experience
