The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Participate in the preparation of the SEC quarterly and annual filings (10-Q and 10-K) and quarterly earnings press release.
Prepare quarterly calculations of earnings per share
Oversee accounting and forecasting functions for stock-based compensation plans, including recording of the monthly calculation of stock compensation expense.
Oversee accounting for the pension entries and related pension disclosure in the SEC quarterly and annual filings.
Prepare the consolidated statement of cash flows on a monthly basis.
Preparation of periodic reporting and presentations to Board of Directors and their Committees.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Tax, Legal, Internal Audit as well as with other departments within the Corporate group (for example, the Corporate Accounting and Consolidations teams).
Monitor new accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements, including analysis of the impacts to the Company and communication of key matters to company-wide business partners.
Provide research and support for special projects and unique transactions, including due diligence and integration of proposed M&A activities, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, etc.
Champion the continuous improvement of internal and external financial reporting processes and deliverables.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA certified or eligible (preferred)
At least (3) three years of public accounting experience with a Big 4 or in an SEC reporting role
Experience focused on accounting, auditing, and/or reporting (including SEC registrants)
Extremely strong technical accounting and SEC reporting skills, with experience in technical research and drafting or reviewing SEC documents
