Located in San Diego, the Staff Financial Analyst, M&A BU Finance, is responsible for supporting the acquiring business unit’s due diligence, deal model and integration needs. This role has responsibility for support of transaction needs throughout the entire M&A process from due diligence through completion of post-close milestones.
This Role Will Be Responsible For Activities Such As
Reviewing target’s projected financials, future cash commitments, and other BU Finance focus areas
Participating in and supporting the due diligence process
Coordinating and/or executing on OpEx integration plans, management reporting/consolidation continuity and the BU forecasting process
Supporting BU Finance lead’s due diligence and integration needs including gathering deal model inputs
Partnering with Strategic Finance to gather valuation assumptions/inputs
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or related position.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
7+ years of accounting or finance experience in a global environment
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to clearly articulate complex processes to audiences with differing levels of understanding
Ability to collaborate in cross functional teams and actively manage teams to complete projects and tasks
Driven and prepared to take a hands-on and pro-active approach
Ability to operate in a diverse, matrixed, global environment across multiple time zones
Demonstrated skill and experience with business unit finance support
Experience with US based multinational companies
Demonstrated skill with process improvements
International and multi-unit business experience is highly desired
Experience supporting M&A
Demonstrated skill with project forecasting/accounting
