Job summary & Objectives:
Provide strategic and operational finance leadership and business partnership to the VP – Marketing, VP – Strategic Programs, and their leadership teams. This position is responsible for driving cross-functional visibility to total customer incentives and programs across all sales channels, marketing, strategic sales, and pricing.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive business partnership, influence stakeholders to deliver results, and initiative to drive profitability through continuous improvement. Ability to collaborate and move multiple stakeholders in direction of a consensus plan is key to the role’s success.
Develop and manage complex business modelling scenarios for leadership decisions making; translate insights into action with cross functional teams
Collaborate with Channel Fin Leaders to drive insights, decision making, and efficient processes for all customer programs
Partner with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, IT & Various Finance teams on continuous improvement projects to drive visibility and insights on total customer programs and Net Customer Margin
Maintain reporting and dashboard packages to convey business results as well as identify risk and opportunities trade-offs with the supported functional teams and finance leadership
Prepare for and conduct monthly business reviews to VP-Marketing, VP-Strategic Programs and respective leadership teams
Responsible for managing the close cycle, forecasting, and AOP for all customer programs and investments.
Develop financial acumen throughout layers of supported functions, through focused training and strong partnership on business performance
Grow and develop 1-2 analysts and indirectly coach and lead across the broader team
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required. MBA a plus.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, economics, or related field
Commercial controllership or strong business partnership experience preferred
Comfortable working in matrix environment.
High level of learning agility and intellectual curiosity
Experience in Tableau, Alteryx. Expert in Hyperion, and financial modelling
Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
Remote / Hybrid environment potential with some travel (10%)
