The AppleCare Workforce Management team is responsible proper planning of our most valuable resource – our Advisors -in order to provide Apple customers with world-class service. As a forecasting analyst with the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and forecasting different metrics which contribute to our labor assumptions. These will include forecasting Advisor staffing metrics (i.e. AHT and Relief) for short and long range planning periods as well as developing reports which highlight performance and allow for deep analysis of drivers behind these metrics..

This position can be located in Elk Grove, Austin or Cupertino.

Key Qualifications

  • Complete understanding of Workforce Management process flow including; forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling
  • Experience with call flow technologies and strategies
  • High level proficiency with Excel
  • Proven ability with SQL and Tableau
  • Experience with Python
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to present and communicate with different levels of business partners
  • Strong data analysis and understanding of databases
  • Solid ability to effectively organize, prioritize, handle multiple assignments, and meet deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Work cohesively within a team
  • Results oriented, highly driven, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Model and forecast labor assumptions using various data points (historical data, business process changes, regional/global events, etc…)
View/Audit planning assumptions provided by Vendor partners against historical data for accuracy
Identify and plan for future events potentially impacting regional business by working with key business partners
Find opportunities for process improvement, partner with teams to design, document, and implement processes

Education & Experience

BA/BS in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, , operations research, or related quantitative social/physical science or equivalent experience
